Mount Greylock district consolidation vote rescheduled until April

Supt. William Travis of the Mount Greylock Regional School District says the school board has postponed until its mid-April meeting any vote on whether to join a consolidation of school districts with elementary schools in Lanesborough and Williamstown.

In an email message, Travis said the school's fiscal-year 2011 budget will be the focus of deliberations at next week's Tuesday, March 16 meeting.
