Arts weekend in support of the Williamstown Rural Lands Foundation July 23-25 (fwd)

The weekend of July 23-25 offers a fantastic way to support the Williamstown Rural Lands Foundation, enjoy original art and jewelry, and purchase unique gifts to treat yourself or your family and friends at the same time.

The weekend begins on Friday evening July 23 from 6-8 PM at theBrowns 16 Water Street, Williamstown,with the opening of VISTE VERDI, an exhibition and sale of landscape photographs of some of the world’s most special places by photographer Simonetta Morrison. “Viste verdi”… in Italian means green views or scenes, and are characterized by her as “Vistas of Hope". 20% of proceeds will be donated to the WRLF in celebration of its land protection efforts. The exhibit will be on view during the weekend; Saturday from 10 AM to 8 PM, and Sunday from noon until 8 PM. For more information call

On Saturday July 24th from 1 to 5 PM, the WRLF welcomes jeweler Betsy Grant back to Williamstown for a “trunk show” of her beautiful hand-made jewelry. The event will be hosted by WRLF Board member Maureen Dietze at her home at 1712 Oblong Road, in Williamstown, and a portion of the day’s sales will be donated to WRLF.
