Upcoming Friday -- panel discussion on making Williamstown bike- and pedestrian-friendly

Panel discussion and Community conversation about making Williamstown a more bike and pedestrian friendly community:

On Friday September 23 at 3:30PM at Williamstown Elementary School, a panel discussion and community conversation will take place about how to make Williamstown a more bike friendly community. Tom Costly of Overland will present a short slideshow "Biking Transcontinental". Berkshire Regional Planning Commission will present about the extension of the bike path to Williamstown. Mass MOCA will present about their new MASS Transit bike rental program. Northern Berkshire Community Coalition will explain their Mass in Motion Collaborative. Popcorn will be served. This event is co-sponsored by the Williamstown COOL Committee, FIrst Congregational Church, and Northern Berkshire Transition as part of the 350.org Moving Planet day of action to address climate change.
