Public forum on Proposed Superintendency Union set for Tues., Feb. 9 at MGRHS
The Mountain Greylock Regional School District is hosting a public forum on Tuesday, Feb. 9 at 6 pm in the
Meeting Room to discuss the possible expansion of Union 71, the Superintendency Union that currently exists between WES and LES. All are welcome. This is an opportunity to learn more about the proposed union structure from the Feasibility Committee, comprised of members of each of the three school committees. It is also an opportunity to share your thoughts and concerns about the high school, the middle school, or the elementary schools in the context of the union. What kind of support do these schools need that they are not currently getting and are these needs best met by this expanded union?

A decision to join the Union or retain the current secondary school administrative structure will be made by vote of the School Committee members in March. They need to know your thoughts in order to best represent your views.
